It is now my turn to write about the Coronavirus and to take my actions to move online.
When I was 16 years old, I remember very distinctly living through SARS. We watched the news every day for the number of people getting sick. We worried when a family member sneezed at dinner. We would hear about a friend not being able to travel back home because of the virus. We practiced the extreme hygiene measures every day, and that forever changed Hong Kong as you can still find hand sanitizer dispensers at every elevator lobby around the city. My hands were so dry from the hand sanitizers it cracked my cuticles. I remember how much I hated wearing a face mask across the bridge of my nose because it was pinching the skin and forming a permanent indentation into my skin. The absolute worst part for a teenager was being stuck at home because school got canceled and having nothing, nothing to do.
Although the Coronavirus has similarities to SARS, it seems to be far worse of a virus and much more infectious. The CDC is correct that limiting human exposure until the virus dies down is the best course of action (Please visit their website https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html for more information). China, where the Coronavirus started from, has already shown considerable improvements in its infected population. All of this leads me to a tough decision for the next months to come.
If you have worked with me, you know how much I cherish our person to person interactions. I not only want to hear how you are doing, but I want to see how you are doing. I also believe that you cannot teach full energy healing online. The initiations and ignitions do have to be done in person. However, that does not prevent me from teaching all that I can through reading, technicalities, and discussing philosophy. So, I am going to do my best.
Currently, you will see that I will only do long-distance healings over the phone, Skype or Google Hangouts. I will also only do Life Coaching and Intuitive Consulting online as well. For those that have signed up for class, you should be getting a private e-mail from me to discuss the best course of action for you.
On top of this, I know we’re all scared. I am going to offer my Long Distance Reiki sessions at half price to try and offer some comfort and guidance. Many of us are losing jobs and suffering other personal losses at this time on top of being sick. Healing and grounded is what is most needed to carry us through this crisis.
